TELEMEDICINE APPOINTMENTS
All appointments with Dr. Patterson are currently virtual using a secure, HIPAA compliant telemedicine site. Dr. Patterson is licensed in New York, New Jersey and Florida for Telehealth appointments. Patients must attest to being located in one of those states or in a location that recognizes this licensing (i.e. Colorado allows existing patients of Dr. Patterson to be seen there if traveling). Some states have expanded recognition of licensing due to the COVID crisis.
When it is time for your appointment, you will need to first check-in on the portal and then access the virtual waiting room. Please be sure to allow time to test your camera and microphone to ensure everything is setup for your appointment.
To ensure the confidentiality of your session, please make sure you are located somewhere private and on a secure network when you connect (many home and work networks are secure).
Dr. Patterson hopes to return to seeing patients in an office at some point, but will allow patients the option to continue to see him virtually should they choose to do so.
